Installation tips:

  1. The storage and transportation of waterstop should avoid moisture and extrusion deformation.
  2. Before the next concrete pouring, the construction joints that have appeared all should install the waterstop.
  3. The construction joints and after pouring seam that need to fix waterstop should keep dry. And you should clear the scum, dust and debris on interface.
  4. After determining the installation site of waterstop, we should apply a thin layer of adhesive on the interface where the waterstop is to be installed and on the bottom of the waterstop. And we should paste after a period of volatility. We also can fix the waterstop on the mounting area with high-strength anchor.
  5. In case of concrete interface is damp or uneven, adhesive paste fixed is not strong, we can further strengthen the fixed with strong nail depending on the specific situation. In short, the PN unvulcanization waterstop must be in close contact with the concrete interface and fix closely to prevent PN unvulcanization waterstop out of the interface and lose impermeability.
  6. After installing the waterstop, it should be poured with concrete. The thickness >50 mm.
  7. The connection of waterstop should be connected in overlapping methods. It should be fixed with high-strength nails after pasting. The installation path forms a closed loop along the construction seams without break points.
  8. Before pouring the next concrete, the PN unvulcanization waterstop should avoid being soaked in water and other submerged water.
  9. When pouring concrete, the vibrator should avoid to touch PN unvulcanization waterstop.
